Netty's Junkanoo Christmas is a story about a girl growing up in the islands of The Bahamas. Children of the Bahamas celebrate the Christmas Holidays different from most children around the world. Netty's favorite tradition is a yearly street parade called Junkanoo, where participants wear colorful costumes, and dance to the hypnotic sounds of goat skin drums, brass instruments, whistles and cowbells.
