Wow like I knew that was going to happened in the end. A lot of people are hard headed. Don't realized they can change once they get out revenge ain't everything. Karma can always bite the person in the a hole. When the time comes Corey was so young so was Omar. That is crazy. Especially Corey he had a good life until he let the drug dealing take over his life. I think if he would've listen to Tate hell still be alive. And I think a lot of teenagers needs to read this book and get a better understanding what would happen if you do the things that Corey did. And Corey was right he wasn't going back to prison and that he didn't. I wish he's mom would've sent him to military maybe he would've live . IDK. I thought this book was good though even though the ending didn't surprise me. I just shook my head.

I thorougly enjoyed this book. However, the grammer was very poor. The English in this story just got absolutely worn out. It was inspiring how hard the father tried to keep his son out of the drud bussiness, but his son did just not listen. The temptation to use drugs in this contemporary time period is very strong. Students and teenagers are pressured by their peers and their friends to abuse tabbaco, drugs and alchohol. I think that any teenager can learn a valuable lesson by reading this book; drugs are not always the alternative. By the way, I am only twelve.

The book was a good read while riding on the subway. I just thought that after awhile the broken english got tired. I am going to purchase Bad girlz 4 life next....

It was a good lesson to those who think they can beat the streets or the drug game BUT the store lacked any real pull to turn the next page. Corey was a REAL character but there was nothing special about him thoughout the book. He was just another young black man who didn't get it that there are more opportunities than to sell drugs and kill your fellow man. Shannon, after B-more, I know you can write, so what was up with this one?

I loved this book. It taught me the way of the game. There is no good that comes from drugs. Thinking that you would be ok in jail if the guards watched over you. But you won't. Just stay out of trouble and your all good

This was a really good book. I love Shannon Holmes although I think he could've shed more light on the relationship that Corey was in. Also more input about the counselor that told him to never go home again. All in all this book was off the chains. I read it in 3 days so now you know it was the shi*.

I happened to love this book. It kept me wanting to read more. You can picture everything that is going on. You can also learn a valuable lesson from this book. How ever more time should have been spent in the streets than in jail and more time with corey's family. Get um Shannon!

I really liked this book. I read it in one day. The only thing I can think of that would have made this book better was if there was more time spent in the streets, majority of the book was in prison. The book should have showed his relationship with Monique more. But other than that, the book was great! I think all teens in the urban areas of the city should read this book, I can teach them lot.

It was a long read. It usually does not take me a week to read a book. It took me a long time to get into this book. It does not compare to B-More Careful at all. It was rather depressing.

the plot to the book was kind of boring. The storyline when Corey was in Jail was interesting but it dragged on and when he got out of jail..the plot did not really go anywhere either. The whole book seemed rushed and thrown 2gether.
