The main character was unlikeable, the plot boring, and the killer predictible. Very disappointing.

If Harriet is to become a character for a sequel or series, James Patterson needs to up his game or get a new co-writer

There was a time Patterson wrote a fair book, but now he spews them out faster than you can change socks, with his one page chapters and silly stories. I don't think he even writes them himself anymore and just has a staff that does it all and he rakes in the dough. Since there are no zeros, I give him a one.

I would like to not even give this book one star. What a travesty when Patterson puts his name on a book just so the author can get bigger sales.

Another book James Patterson puts his name on that he didn't write. The person listed below his name wrote the book not Patterson. Just as long as you know that than you can safely consider this book.

Very good! I practically finished this read from the moment l started reading it. I'm hoping there more to hear from Dec. Blue l loved her character right from the start!! I read just about all of James Patterson books!! Thank You Mr. Patterson!!

I used to like James Patterson, but the last three books of his I read were not close to being worth the money ... or the time. Sorry to say, it's my last James Patterson novel. Like someone else said, it doesn't even seem like he writes them anymore anyway ... and probably doesn't even read them. Just puts his name on them and then collects money from schmucks like me.

NEVER NEVER should I have wasted time reading this. When will I learn? Weak plot and characters.

Terrible waste of time reading this book. I am a great fan of James Patterson and read everything he writes but this was awful. I will never again read a book co-authored by Candice Fox. The story was bad enough and the f-bombs were so unnecessary. Don't waste your time reading this book.

What a boring, boring book. Really disappointed in Patterson for putting his name to this!

If a book could be recalled as defective, this new Patterson qualifies. As much as I look forward to the latest from his book factory, this month I would rather have taken a nap.

Very disappointed in this book... Not sure why his books are getting worse and worse. Does he have any creative input in all of these books "with" other authors? It seems not....

Det. Blue is not a compelling female. Caught between 2sexes I felt. Heterosexual but too masculine to ring female. Story line was strange and not satisfying.

I started it in the afternoon and just finished it at 5:30 in the morning.

What. A Piece. Of Garbage. This has got to be one of the worst books I've ever read, it's VERY obvious that Patterson wrote nothing in this story. The plot is ridiculous, the foul language is AWFUL, and the ending makes NO sense whatsoever. Patterson I love, but any future books that are so-called 'co-written' with Candice Fox I will not waste my money on. Honestly, the foul language alone should be enough to turn you away, she used it when it wasn't even necessary (is it ever necessary??). Very very offensive. I'm sitting here wondering why on earth Patterson would even put his name on something like this. Awful book.
