This was truly one of my favorite works I've ever read. I saw the musical in New York and was blown away so to be able to read the text and connect even further to the characters was phenomenal.

This is simply the best play I've seen in my entire life. It is the most powerful play that will make you cry for two hours straight. It's pure genius, and I know it'll be your favorite too.

Next to Normal is a gripping story of the "perfect loving family" that is not so perfect. An amazing piece of literature that deals with a mother's mental illness and a family's attempt to cope with it. The pain and loss felt by the whole family is perfectly depicted in this drama.
