David is always getting in trouble for being everyhere. He runs around the house like wild and is always yelled it it seems. Through all this, though, his mother still tells him that she loves him.

I purchased my first copy of No David for my neice and nephew (their Daddy, my brother is named David). They absolutely loved it!!! Since then I have purchased two more...one for my classroom and the other for my two year old. The text is very simple so even the earliest readers have success. The story is about a little boy named David and his mischief. It goes through a variety of ways that his mother tells him NO for. A favorite at home and the classroom is 'Come back here' as David runs bare bottom down the street. 'Stop that this instant' with David's finger up his nose causes a laugh riot in the classroom as well. A very fun book I'd recommend for a variety of ages.

This is the best children's book I have read in a very long time.

This book is promoting a kind of parenting which destroys kids' self esteem! Feel sad to see that in stores!
