No Ordinary Billionaire is the second book in J.S. Scott’s The Sinclair’s series. Ms. Scott introduces us to Detective Dante Sinclair who has experienced a huge loss in his life, his partner from the police force. Not only is he suffering from survivor’s guilt, he was also seriously injured in the line of duty while trying to save Patrick’s life. Dante’s brother Grady flies him home to the Sinclair compound in Amesport, Maine. Dr. Sarah Baxter, one of the town’s doctors, has been hired to oversee his care while living on the peninsula. Sarah is a child prodigy having graduated from college at the age of sixteen, and medical school at the age of twenty-one. She’s twenty-seven but also has her own past that she’s dealing with. A mother who has little care about who her true daughter is now that she’s moved away from her clutches. Dante agrees to allow her to be his physician only to become instantly attracted to her. Sarah is also hiding something from her past and Dante wants to be the one to remedy the situation. I’ve read many of Ms. Scott’s books but No Ordinary Billionaire had a different feel to it. I loved it and think that this is her best novel to date. The writing style flowed effortlessly with no slowdown in pace of the storyline. I was engaged from the first paragraphs. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading about the remaining members of the Sinclair family. I’d like to disclose that I received an advanced copy of No Ordinary Billionaire in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Woohoo, as always with this author, I think that the last alpha male is my favorite, but once again J.S. Scott, has outdone herself and proven me wrong. My newest favorite alpha male is Dante Sinclair. He is a sexy, strong billionaire homicide detective in LA. He loves his job, but when his best friend and partner is killed in the line of duty, and Dante is injured, he comes to his home in Amesport, Maine to heal and get his head straight. His brother Grady, whom we met in The Billionaire's Christmas brings his wounded brother home and sets him up with a doctor to see him through his recovery. The doctor is Sarah Baxter, a very young, intelligent woman who has moved to Amesport from Chicago. Sarah has lived a very guarded, sheltered life, with no friends and none of the childhood memories that other kids have. Few people understand Sarah and others are intimidated by her, but not Dante, when they meet the sparks fly. Shortly after they meet, someone from Sarah's past shows up in Amesport, can Dante protect her when she needs it most? Can Sarah help Dante get over his feelings of guilt that he has because of his partners death?  This book is loaded with suspense, romance, steamy sex, friends and family. I especially liked a scene towards the end of the book between Dante and his brother Jared. I cannot tell you about the scene you will have to read the book. J.S. Scott, you have written another awesome book and I cannot wait to read more about the Sinclairs. If you haven't read any of her books, you are really missing out, this one would be a great place to start!! I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book for an honest review. And I give it a sizzling hot FIVE stars!!

I think this series just keeps getting better and better. Here we get to spend some quality time with the ever hot and sexy Dante. I love that this is a full length novel , the first of this series. Sexy Detective Dante has been injured and his partner killed and he needs to recover, so away he goes to a please that he can spend time in solitude and dwell on everything that has happened, but instead he meets equally attractive Doctor who is in charge of Dante's recovery and care. Dante may be gruff and obnoxious around Sarah to start but he cannot deny the unmistakeable attraction. I love that Grady and his wife Emily are also brought back in to the series quiet a bit in this book, it's always great to read about characters in the series that sometimes you may have forgotten about. This book will keep you turning the pages as you find out what Sarah is running from and how Dante plans to keep her safe. Chemistry, suspense, lust, love, death and will not want to put this down until the very last page...

I have been doing the countdown for Dante's book.  I loved his character in The Billionaire's Christmas and couldn't wait to read more about him. Dante is a homicide detective that is injured on the job and his partner is killed.  He comes back to Amesport, Maine to recover. Not only does he has injuries he has 'survivor's quilt'. Dr. Sarah Baxter, who runs a small town practice in Amesport, becomes his doctor.  She is a very intelligent woman, a child prodigy who didnt' have a childhood.  She moved from Chicago to escape her past. These two had sparks flying from the start.  It was awesome to see how these two connected, coming from two different worlds.  I think they 'grounded' each other. Through Dante Sarah is able to learn to live a 'normal' life and through Sarah Dante is able to work through his quilt and learn how to live again. When Sarah's past comes back into her life you see how strong a character they both are. Dante loves with his whole being. It's Awesome! I absolutely loved this book!  In fact I did not put it down until the end.  It is that good.
