This book is a well written, informative beautifully illustrated book about all the amazing things Ben Franklin did through out his life. Not only did Benjamin Franklin start the first fire department, post office, and hospital he was also a great inventor. The invention of the lightning rod help prevent many fires. An interesting fact about Benjamin Franklin is that he never patented his inventions. He believed that any one should be able to change them or improve them. Gary Dominicus
