I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is a book 8 in the Psychic Vision series, but can be read as stand alone novel as it focuses on the characters of Tia and Dean. I loved the new take on psychic abilities being a source of energy. The tale is spun together in a very believable way of how one would think these powers would actually manifest should they actually exist in today's times. I must say this was my first time reading this author's works, and I now hooked.

Having never read any of the other books in this series, I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book, but I have to say that I really, really liked it. I found it to be thought-provoking and intriguing and suspenseful and romantic, and I honestly just couldn't get enough of it. Since I haven't read any of the other books, I don't know how having that history would have added to the enjoyment of the book, but I thought it read very well as a stand-alone novel. The characters were well developed and complex and very real despite their paranormal nature. It made it very easy to become invested in their lives. I was hooked right from the start, and did not want to stop reading. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a compelling and truly enthralling read. * I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

*received an ARC from author in exchange for honest review* I've read the first two books, so this one was different, concentrating more on the heroine herself than a murder mystery. At times I found myself rereading sections to recollect information that I may had picked up as a reader because of how the characters reacted later on. Basically, the main characters were creating more drama for things that I'd already been told, making the whole experience a little jarring. The romance, like the others in this series, was meant to add flavor to the suspense, but I didn't really feel it, making their sudden connection another thing to distract me. Otherwise, the creepy-level of this was amazing and the ending blew me away.

Now You See Her by Dale Mayer Psychic Visions Series Book Eight Tia Hanniger is different. Her psychic abilities scared her parents, intrigued a scientist, and caused her to have to live her life on the run. She's tired of running. She's tired of being alone. But she also doesn't know who to trust. Dean Walker's life changed from the moment he met the beautiful woman. She was definitely different and alone. He chose to help her and that came with risks. Risks he decided she was worth. As a cop, he is determined to protect her and his loved ones from this unseen danger. Characters from the previous books join in to help Tia on her journey. She has strong abilities, she just needs to learn what they are and how to use them. This story pulled me in and carried me along at a fast pace from beginning to end. **Sexual content & language

Tia is a very special person ... she spent years imprisoned in a program because of her abilities. When she finally found a way to escape, she ran. She's been running ever since. She knows of only one man who can help her, Stefan, and she reaches out. But something goes terribly wrong ... and six weeks later wakes up in a hospital and under the watch of a cop, Dean. His belief system is tested sorely by this woman who seemingly disappears in thin air. He seems to be the only one who can ground her. Someone from the program has been actively searching for her and has finally located where she is. It becomes a case of good vs evil, light vs dark. I like a little psychic paranormal .. and I have read previous books in this particular series. But somehow, this one did not engage me. The characters are shaky, and the plot seems a little thin. It was an okay read for me ... but nothing 'special'. Thanks to the author / Barclay Publicity / Valley Publishing /NetGalley who furnished a digital copy in return for an honest, unbiased review.
