About the Author

ERNA M. VANDERBERG'S dream came true when she moved to Ocean Grove in 2019. She was pleasantly surprised to discover that her corner home was a key historic structure dating back to 1885 in architectural style. Unfortunately, most of her home's exterior decoration and ornamentation was missing and she wondered, "What style is this?" This led to an extensive search for similar homes that still had original architectural elements.
