This is a highly inspiring book for quilters because it provides a whole new approach to quilting. Fabric is cut up and arranged to make all different designs, which can be very fifferent from the parent fabric--the effect is very much like a kaleidoscope in fabric. The directions are very clear and the book is very easy to use. I have seen several quilts at Golden Triangle Quilt Guild made using this technique and am looking forward to making some quilts in this way myself. This technique satisfies a desire that all too often goes unaddressed in adults--the need to let go and play with something to create a beautiful. product.
