Shelley was a teacher's aide, an elementary school librarian, and a library specialist for thirty years. She lives in Sonora, CA.

Bear Dyken is a singer/songwriter, and musician. His band, Clan Dyken, is well known for their environmental activism and support of the Diné elders at Big Mountain, Arizona. Bear lives in Cedar Creek Canyon, Calaveras County, California.

Melody Young works as a freelance graphic artist. Her main focus is on helping new authors publish their books. She provides book design and formatting services, illustrations, and photoshop work, promotional materials, and author websites.
