After signing up for a one-night stand through an exclusive matching agency, hopeless romantic Marianne Caldwell is swept away to a medieval land where she hopes to spend the night with a worthy man of honor. Unsure of how she got from the Castillo Hotel in Las Vegas to a castle in the English countryside, Mare finds Robert, whose stunning physique and winning smile immediately convince her he's the Robin Hood she's been seeking. But despite his efforts in saving her from a corrupt sheriff, his Jersey Shore accent and coarse ways unravel her romantic visions. With her fairytale fantasies coming unhinged, Mare must decide if Robert is just a crass car salesman from Brooklyn or the chivalrous knight she's looking for. One Knight in Brooklyn is another fabulous erotic story in the 1Night Stand series; it is a wonderful break from the everyday with a touch of fantasy. I loved the play on our leading couple's names, Marianne and Robert. Their interactions were entertaining as I love a little hostility between my hero and heroine. Robert is a sexy alpha male who Marianne isn't too impressed with initially but he eventually wins her over with his charm and brawn. I myself have always had a soft spot for a handsome man with a Brooklyn accent and Robert is a keeper. As a fan of the series I'm glad I chose to read this one and I'm looking forward to reading many more.

The beginning was a little confusing, but that’s okay – it’s supposed to be, because the main character is just as confused. It adds mystery to the whole experience. Mare and Robert’s first impressions are outright comical, but the attraction that builds between them is pretty hot. They make light of the situation they find themselves in by bickering, but the danger is all too real and will have you on the edge of your seat. The contrast between the romantic side of Robert and the just plain blunt side of him is funny, but also comforting, because of its authenticity. How many of us have once hoped to find Prince Charming and get swept off our feet, only to fall for an easygoing Prince Mostly Charming instead? I really enjoyed the enjoyed the ending. It’s just funny and cute, and so satisfying that you forget to care that the magical mystery is never really solved. Overall there were a few questions left unanswered, but the story was very enjoyable none the less. An inventive twist on the Robin Hood fairytale, One Knight in Brooklyn tells the story of an unlikely damsel in distress and a misjudged hero. Full of snarky banter and touching romance, you’re sure come away with a smile.

I will admit that I won this from the author herself on a blog contest but as a major fan of the series 1NS, I knew that it would be a good read. Good read doesn't even do the book justice. It was an awesome read. Casea hit all the major buttons for me, medieval, time-travel, comedy, chemistry beyond combustible and clear, crisp dialogue. As with all 1NS books, the plot and pacing are fast and honest. Yes, honest. I was immediately in Marianne's head and I never left it. I highly recommend this book for anyone that wants to know if the fairy tale of a night in shiny armor will come to the rescue of the damsel in distress. :)
