Operation: Outer Space

American author Murray Leinster wrote the science fiction book Operation: Outer Space. The novel is "a fast-paced, caustic effort that is largely a parody on the future of mass communications," according to Galaxy critic Groff Conklin. Anthony Boucher complimented the satirical aspects of the book in a similar way, although he felt that the book fell short of becoming a front-ranker due to "a small lack of actual bite and passion."
