This fast moving storyline is set in and around the quintessential village of Langdon, nestled on the Earl of Dorkington's (15) thousand acre rural estate. Where in the summer of (1955) a young couple sneaked off into the woods, and come the following spring a baby boy was found on the orphanage steps wrapped in a white shawl who they named Richard, and after (8) years of being used and abused by the system he was finally adopted, and his magical mystery tour began.
