Tourists can be funny, strange and eccentric. The local people in the Outback of Australia are different too, with their laconic attitude and slower pace than city slickers. What better way to observe them than traveling as tour guide, cook and driver on outback safaris. For many years the author did just that. Here are his yarns of the humorous sides of his travels.
