Czech-born photographer Jacques Biederer relocated to Paris, France in 1908, and was followed by his brother Charles a few years later. Their photographic studio, Studio Biederer, specialised in underground and taboo images of sexual fetishes, lesbianism, flagellation, and other erotic subjects.
