I thought this was an interesting, and engaging story well presented. Would enjoy more stories about the rogue lawyer.

Great short story. All of Grisham's stories are great. Love all of his books.

Typical of Grisham, the reader is captivated from Page 1 and after finishing the last page is looking for the next exciting book by the same author.

This is the story about how Sebastian met Thomas Ray Cardell, aka Tee Ray, when he was on trial for capital murder. Sebastian takes his case and the book details the backstory as to how these two met and what actually happened on the night of the shooting. It was a quick read, but did a good job of telling the whole story without it feeling rushed or underdone. It has made me like this new series even more.
