About the Author

Barbara Jodry was born in Connecticut, and lived much of her life in Northern California. She was a writer, editor, and retired teacher. Her writing genres were memoir, personal vignettes, travel, and poetry. She also wrote feature articles published in Suttertown News, Peaceworks, Because People Matter, and in the Yesteryear column in Senior Spectrum. Her work also appeared in Solar Cooker Review and Yankee Magazine. Her short stories and poems have been published in several anthologies. She died in 2021. Melinda Jodry is her literary executor.
