About the Author

In honor of Paulsboro's one hundredth anniversary as a borough, James R. Pratz and Violet J. Valentin selected some two hundred vintage images from the vast collection of the historical museum at the Gill Memorial Library. Both longtime employees of the library, the authors are local residents, organizers of the annual Paulsboro Day History Exhibit, and members of the Gloucester County Historical Society.
