Hollis Lance Liebman is a personal trainer, former fitness magazine editor (Exercise for Men, Men's Exercise, and Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness) and national bodybuilding champion. Author of Anatomy of Core Stability and Anatomy of Strength and Conditioning, he lives in Los Angeles and has worked with some of Hollywood's elite, including Hugh Jackman, Jane Lynch (Glee), Chris Jericho (WWE Superstar), Pussycat Dolls Melody and Karmit, and Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar), among others.

The layout of the book was obviously well thought out because is so easy to follow. The information is presented in such a way that makes me WANT to read everything. The 'portable workouts' are great because as a working mom I am not always making it to the gym. And the recipes are quick, easy, and YUMMY! The wait is finally over!!! I couldn't wait to get this book in my hands!!! In Peak Physique: Your Total Body Transformation, Hollis delivers everything that I expected and more. The 12 week program is clearly laid out and his approach is practical, realistic and encouraging. Not only does he provide satisfying meal plans (including a weekly cheat meal!) and workout options to fit any lifestyle and fitness level, but he takes it further by emphasizing how important motivation and maintaining focus is, as in Chapter 3: The Mental Edge. In Chapters 5 and 6, the workouts are demonstrated through vibrant pictures along with clearly written instructions that even a novice could pick up and run with. This book has all of the tools one needs to get in the shape of their life, but there's even more. Hollis takes you on the journey that led to the creation of this book. He puts his heart out there and his passion for health and fitness shines through. He proves that even though we all hit bumps in the road, as long as we keep driving in the right direction we'll make it to the big dance.
