Many critics and readers have compared this to the beloved series The Killing Joke. If you're a batfan then you know what massive praise that is. This is a dark and brutal story that revolves around one of Batman's most classic foes. If you love Penguin, you'll love this. If you hate Penguin, you will have new respect for the character after this. Thanks to the skill of a fantastic writer, Penguin comes across as tragic and deadly... as opposed to being his typically goofy self. We see why and how Penguin remains as an A-list batvillian, and you'll find yourself cheering for Penguin one second and hating him the next... and then cheering for him again. The art, I could write a paper on how well this is drawn, but I still wouldn't do it justice. One of the greatest bad guy centric books of all time, this is a must read for any comic lover
