It may be called photoshop cs5 for "dummies", but as it says on page 15 (in the ebook), "This book is written for the person who has a good grasp of using a computer and navigating the operating system and at least a cursory knowledge of Photoshop." If you are one of the persons described above, this book is for you.
I was new to Photoshop. I thought the book would get me started with the basics. It didn't. It assumes a lot of knowledge. I would have preferred something that had step-by-step directions for a newbie. This book is 700 pages long but doesn't teach the basics.
