Pippin Goes Snowboarding

Happy picture storybook for 2yrs to 8yrs. Winter is the snow season, and there is nothing better than having a great outdoor adventure in the snow with your friends. The hero of our story is Pippin the poodle. He doesn't know what snow is, but when Mummy tells him it is time to play, they jump into the car and set off for a beautiful day. Pippin has fun digging a hole in the snow and licking a snowman. It is funny to see Pippin licking the snowman because he thinks it is a real person. He meets many great friends like Emy the Emu and her baby chicks. He also meets Luna the fluffy dog who invites him to snowboard. It is amusing following him when he joins the snowboard race with Luna and the other dogs. I believe these adventures are irresistible and will delight young readers. They will love the beautiful images portraying Pippin and the other characters. Pippin is the perfect playmate for them. This story is about friendship and sharing and includes learning activities.

Are you ready to join Pippin and all his friends? I am sure you are.

About the Author

Julia has published two series of children's picture books. She was born in Austria of Ukrainian background and had a post-war education in semi-rural south-east England. Julia, a world traveller, now calls Adelaide, Australia, home. She adores her miniature poodle, loves walking, going on road-trips, is an avid reader, and enjoys her garden. Julia is happily married with one son, two stepsons, one stepdaughter and four grandchildren. Her aspiration is to continue writing children's books and, on that note, she agrees with the optimistic view on life that "the glass is half full, not half empty".
