Italian illustrator, Paolo Barbieri, strikes a balance between fantasy and elegant realism with this fantastic image of pirates in battle. There is a lot of detail to this image making for spectacular puzzle with two pirate ships in a hard-fought battle with a kraken in the water waiting to seize the spoils. As you look at this large image, you can see all kinds of details with pirates in various positions, two sets of structures in the middle and on the right side. The image will form as a puzzle from the ships as the pieces for these elements will stand out from the others. There is a lot of gray blue in this so the Kraken and the castle on the hill and on the right will have to serve as reference points. The moon will also help to get the night sky started. It is a spectacular illustration with several storylines coming out of it. The finished puzzle is 27.5" x 19.7"
