Yvonne Davis-Weir was born in Kingston, Jamaica to parents Melbourne and Edith Davis, and was later raised in Park Hall, Clarendon, which is also in Jamaica. She attended Frankfield High School and Clarendon College. After her high school graduation in 1975, she began her career as a nurse. In 1985 she shifted her career to start her own business which is still being operated today.
