Overview

Poetry of Seduction for Queens and Ruffians, is a collection of poems by the author; most dating back to 2005. They were written to satisfy my love for words and for poetry especially. The time-line of my beginning interest in poetry dates back to 1959. In the first part of the selected 21 poems, are simple and direct works. I'm hoping with enough flavor to hold the readers attention. My focus on romantic issues reflect my life as an entertainer. Lightheartedness tend to dominate the venue. A patron recently quipped: "I like what you're doing, mixing poetry with music". Feeling good about oneself can be contagious. Maybe this selection and the next 2 in the series will serve as a ignition switch to global infatuation.

About the Author

Have been a writer of sorts for many years. once upon a time wrote prose features for the Chicago Defender.
In the early 90's I had time to hone my poetry, music, and writing credentials over-all. Moving to Atlanta Ga. and becoming a lay minister, things worked smoothly for a while. Was their for the World Olympic games. With an appointment to run a senior citizen establishment, after a year I went to live in Irvine Ca. then on to San Francisco. My intended destination to work for Glide church. To my surprise San Francisco was a place where the arts thrive and I was able to produce and perform in the arts in ways I'd never expected. I have many ideas about the process of writing poetry and its content. Specific questions about what makes a particular person happy often come up in conversations with myself. Otherwise, I'm of the opinion, that in the future entertainment and the arts will play a very important role in global life. Why? Because in a world already dominated by nanotechnology, an ability to be turned on by ones own creations and psychically, should offer great opportunities in every sector of public life.
