Point of Return by Stacey Lynn

Olivia Masters grew up familiar with all of them. The daughter of the President of the Nordic Lords Motorcycle Club, Olivia always knew she wanted nothing to do with any of it. Her plans were made to leave the town she grew up in as soon as she and her boyfriend, Daemon Knight, turned eighteen.
But then Olivia was shot. Her mother killed in front of her. Fleeing became her reality.
Forced to return to her hometown of Jasper Bay five years later, events beyond Olivia's control put her directly back into the life she swore she'd never return to.
Her dad wants her back in the family. Daemon wants her in his bed.
But just as Olivia begins to accept her destiny, history finds a way to repeat itself.
This time, will Olivia be strong enough to fight for the family she once turned her back on? Or will she once again flee from the only life that has ever felt like home?

About the Author

Stacey Lynn currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and four children. When she’s not conquering mountains of laundry and fighting a war against dust bunnies and cracker crumbs, you can find her playing with her children, curled up on the couch with a good book, or on the boat with her family enjoying Minnesota’s beautiful, yet too short, summer.
She lives off her daily pot of coffee, can only write with a bowlful of Skittles nearby, and has been in love with romance novels since before she could drive herself to the library.

One mistake and the heroine breaks ip with the hero and leaves. Then when they see each other again they continue to hurt each other, back and forth. The plot was immature and annoying. It had potential to be so much better. I hope the authors don't follow same m.o. for Tabby and Timber's book.

Rating: 2.5 Stars The story of Olivia (Daughter to Nordic Lords MC president, ex-runaway princess) and Daemon (VP of Nordic Lords MC) and a whole host of other characters that were introduced in this book. Olivia was a likeable heroine. She faced serious tragedy at a young age and decided to leave her father's MC and the town to escape it. She ends up coming back to town and shuns the MC. Olivia carries hate for the Nordic Lords MC, her father, and Daemon. Daemon never stopped caring for Olivia and he wants her back with him and the club. I actually liked Daemon as the hero. He was protective, honest and a good leader. He was also a very likeable character. I just wish there were more scenes with him and Liv as a couple. The MC drama centered around a tragedy that involved most of the characters from the past. There's some current violent drama that the MC has to deal with too. This was an OK read for me. I don't know if I was hooked enough to continue with this series. We'll see. Why Not 5 Stars? I was out of the loop most of the time. There were many issues/events with the characters that happened in the past that I had no idea. It felt like I came in the middle of reading a series. This did not seem like the first book in the series. It was strange. Example: the Faith and Olivia non-friendship, what was the deal...what happened? I still do not know. It took way too long for Olivia and Daemon to finally hook up. They got together at the 90% mark in the book. This was too long in my opinion because I never really enjoyed them as a true couple. Boring. The story really dragged for me. I kept waiting for something to happen between Olivia/Daemon or some MC drama. I wanted some excitement and it came too far towards the end to keep my attention. At some point, I was just rushing / skimming to finish the book...which is not good. Unfinished business - Some of the secondary storylines were not summed up. The incident at Gunner's...who did it and why?, Faith's issue, why Travis did what he did and the Jules drama. The Jules drama is another example that I felt I had no idea about her backstory and involvement with the club. I never found out why she was really disliked.

Love this book, fantastic start to the series! It had everything i love in a good mc book...... alpha males, strong females, build up to incredible love scences, action, and many supporting characters with a perfect blend of good and bad. Could not put this book down until the end.

Loved it! First book for me by this author but won't be the last. I was easily sucked into the storyline and couldn't put down. Storyline was entertaining, well written and steamy. Daemon and Olivia were meant to be together despite her leaving the club and both spending time with other people. I thought they had chemistry, an emotional connection and history. Would recommend and can't wait to read more in this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I haven't read many MC stories yet but if this is the caliber of stories I can find there, I will be reading more. I felt the stage was set very well and the characterization was excellent and for the most part motivation and actions were right on. I loved how the it all played out. I highly recommend for 18+ and mature due to adult themes and violence.
