Pondering in Wonder: Contemplations of a Mountain Contemplative

One of my favorite words in the Bible is "ponder." I love the fact that Mary "treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart" (Luke 2:19). The Psalmist also pondered and calls us to ponder (Psalm 64:9, 111:2, 119:95). Ponder means to think about something deliberately, carefully, to engage in contemplation.
