I adore everything from J.R. Ward, and this novella is no different. I laughed, I cried, I screamed at characters that can't hear me (though the neighbors certainly could). Highly recommended.

As always....a great read. Was it weird that I started reading with a paper plate of oreos and a glass of milk? Whoa!!

The Warden has done it again with great romance and deep emotions along the way. One can't help but root for her excellent characters.

Love this series, love this author. Grabs you right off the page and drags you inside the story every single time.

The book is being advertised as 310 pages, in fact it is only 210. Should let consumers know the true size.

Prisoner of Night is a quick novella length read that packs a punch. Ward submerses the reader into her story telling with dark and graphically descriptive circumstances that will make the light-hearted reader cringe. That being said, I wouldn't have wanted to miss this shorter additions to the Black Dagger Brotherhood world. Fast paced, bone chilling, goose-bump raising, and a perfect example of why J.R. Ward is the queen of storytelling. I received this ARC copy of Prisoner of Night from Gallery. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Huge fan of this series. Even though this is part of the Black Dagger Brotherhood story, it has nothing to do with the brothers themselves. I liked that she is showing other parts of this world. I would love to read more about the history of this cult or the seedier side of this world.. Well written....I had a hard time putting it down.

If there was only one vampire series allowed, The Black Dagger Brotherhood should be it!!! The side stories like this one and The Story of Son add a prospective that rounds out the amazing tales of the brotherhood, their families, and satellite characters. These stories are AMAZING!!!
