About the Author

Jim Calaway, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, graduated from Laneri High School in Fort Worth Texas, attended college at Arlington State.He spent years traveling the country on industrial start-ups finally settled in Columbus, Mississippi as a Process Control Engineer in the Paper Industry. He retired after twenty years to pursue his lifelong dream to write and publish the novel he had carried around in his mind for years. However, enraged by endless reports of attacks on children, he put that dream on hold to pen "Protect the Innocent."
