Overview

Living in Southern California, Cheyenne was used to seeing hot military men as she went about her daily business. An anonymous encounter at the grocery store cemented her crush on one such man. He was big, built, and incredibly easy on the eyes, but it wasn't as if he would ever really notice her.

Always in control of any situation, Faulkner "Dude" Cooper knows explosives. As a bomb expert, he's lived through many high pressure situations. Disfigured by a bomb while on a mission, he's used to being looked at with pity. When he's called to a local supermarket to assist the local PD, the last thing he expects to find is a generous act of kindness performed by a beautiful, amazing woman. Enchanted by her selflessness in the face of danger and intrigued by her actions to save civilians she didn't know, Dude's hooked.

Dude was able to save Cheyenne from the group of thugs trying to take her life, but when the past comes back to haunt them both, sometimes having the knowledge and the desire isn't enough to beat the countdown of the clock.

**Protecting Cheyenne is the 5th book in the SEAL of Protection Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but it's recommended you read the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

Susan Stoker has a heart as big as the state of Texas where she lives but this all American girl has also spent the last fourteen years living in Missouri, California, Colorado, and Indiana. She is quite the romantic and even met the love of her life on "Hotmail classified" before online dating and sites like match.com even existed!

Susan has been reading romance novels since middle school and once crossed out the names of the main characters in a book and changed them to her own and to the name of her crush. She's been writing scenes for years, developing her unique writing style.

Love all of your books. Hate the f word used a lot, I just like to read good books without all the f words in each of the paragraphs. Just saying.

Another great story. Another great couple. This series became a Pre-Order for me 3 books ago & I have not been disappointed. If you want Alpha males with sweet centers finding their "one's" these books are for you. One note, these books are not about sex. There are some scenes in each book, but these stories are more about the relationships and those little moments that make them special.

So far this is my least favorite in this series...I like Dude but can't stand Shy, every word out of her mouth is about how she is not good enough..got old real quick. Also, the books seem to be getting shorter and feeling more rushed, the author also insist on recapping all the other books that came before which means even less of a story about the two main characters of the current book. I have two more books in this series to read, not sure I will bother..

I like to read about the female lead being in her twenties. Because i am 25 y.o., i like the female lead to have all that K. S.'s SEALS give to their women while young. Before anyone resents my opinion l feel that a good woman deserves to have a good relationship with her man no matter her age. Just stating my interests. Good story tgo.

This was a pretty good book - only 159 pages. All the books in the series have been good but short. They all have so much of the same storyline also.

Another in the series that I loved. Great story of Faulkner and Cheyenne. The women are so strong , each time the situations they find themselves in is even more dangerous and heartrecening . Finished in a couple hours. Going to order the next right now. mjw

I bought this for Brockmann's Troubleshooter addition and Walker's Deep Six story and it was worth every penny and goes for a wonderful cause! Its always fun catching up with "book family and friends". Can't wait to check out the other authors in this collection.
