Elva Ambía Rebatta was born a native Quechua speaker in Huancavelica, Perú, was raised in Chincheros, Apurímac, and has lived in New York City for over 50 years. Elva is a committed educator, activist, and Andean music singer. She inspires everyone to speak Quechua, so it will stay alive forever.
