Amos Milton Musser served in the Battle of Nauvoo at the age of 16 in defense of the Saints, even though he had not yet joined the restored Church. He later joined the Church at Council Bluffs in 1851. Milton served as a clerk in the tithing office and was one of the first missionaries to serve in India. He later held the position of Trustee in Trust of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, overseeing the Church's assets and finances, and was appointed Church historian in 1902. "...
