This is a great book even for RETIREES. We never stop being members of teams no matter what stage of life we are in. Alan's words inspired me to examine my commitment to self-awareness, communication and service even though I no longer prowl the sidelines on Tuesday and Friday nights.

I've anticipated this book from the minute I heard about based on following Alan on social media and hearing him speak at clinics. The book didn't disappoint -- in fact, it exceed expectations! Alan covered all the bases by breaking up the book in three areas: The Player -- The Coach -- The Team. Regardless of your sport, this book can elevate a program. In fact, I think it's lessons go beyond sports and can benefit any group or organization. Thanks Alan for sharing a lifetime of teaching!

Alan's book is full of lessons for everyone. As a college basketball coach, there is so much information to share with the players and I will be able to do my job better. You don't have to be involved in sports to be able to Raise Your Game by-as Alan writes-making the choice-to act. As you read, you'll feel Alan's passion and his true desire to assist others in getting better. There should be no hesitation in buying this book. Coach Brad
