About the Author

Wendy L. Googe is a native of Jackson, Tennessee, and has been fascinated with the Fae since she was a young girl. She is a classically trained singer and has served for many years as cantor for her local church. Googe has a great love for all of God's creation and can often be found out in nature singing and whistling vintage fairy tunes. She is also the mother of a special needs child and is a fierce advocate for individuals with disabilities and medical complexities. Googe lives with her two children, her Cardigan Welsh Corgis, a green-eyed Tabico cat, and a menagerie of magical creatures. "Raspberry Maude" is Googe's first book and is part one in her Tales from the Fairy Realms series.

Wanda Stanfill, a lifelong resident of Jackson, Tennessee, has illustrated fourteen books for children and adult audiences. She also wrote and illustrated her own book, Twig. Stanfill has been commissioned for a variety of artworks. Notable pieces include the papier mâché Blue Suede Shoes made for a former Grammy producer; an eight-foot sculpture for couture designer Pat Kerr Tigrett; and a bronze-and-granite sculpture of suffragist Sue Shelton White. She was one of thirty-six artists nationwide in the juried exhibit, Global Warming is REAL, hosted by the Encaustic Art Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is married to David Stanfill and has two children and three grandchildren.
