About the Author

Jim Gomes graduated from the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor and taught for over 35 years with the Greater Essex County District School Board in Southwestern Ontario. An avid traveller, Jim and his wife Pam enjoy hiking in wilderness areas of national parks in Canada and the United States.
