About the Author

I made the decision to write about my life in hopes to reach those who have experienced trauma and felt there was no hope left. What I discovered was that hope is always there, waiting for me to make the decision to ask for help while helping myself. Nobody was going to save me from my own self-destruction. I had to do that myself with support and guidance from others.
I decided to enroll in college and get my degree in Sociology and Communications to better understand myself, my surroundings, and how we as a society feel about those who are not the same as everyone else. But there is so much hope and love in this world that I never knew existed until I began loving myself.
I am delighted to share my life story with this book and I am looking forward to completing my second book soon.
