I have been married for ten years, and I am always surprised by how much I learn when it comes to the relationship I have with my wife. Some people think that you learn all there is to know about your special someone when you are in the dating phase. In reality, the learning never stops. One secret that some people have not caught onto yet is that we have to learn more about ourselves if we want to have successful relationships. I have lived in the United States for more than half my life now, all of it in the Midwest. I grew up in the United Kingdom. I never knew if I would stay or go, as life choices always pull you in a particular direction. Thankfully, we all get to choose which direction we wish to go in, even if that means moving all over the place like I did growing up.
