Fallon has had a long and rough couple of years. She's ready now to work on putting the past behind her and focus on putting her life back together. A trip to see her best friend to hang out and create some new happy memories seems just the way to start off her new life. However, the first person she meets is Reid Snow, who threatens her peace of mind. Fallon does everything to resist his bad boy charm. The last thing she needs is someone else bringing drama into her life. But, when tragedy strikes Reid is the one who she turns to.
Reid Snow has gone from an unknown to a well known. He never had a problem in the female department until he's taken in by a gold digger who is after more than just his good looks. Before becoming a well known actor, women always wanted him for himself. Determined not to be suckered again, he finds himself extremely attracted to the best friend of his best friend's sister. The only problem is, he's not interested in anything more than casual hook-ups. But, even if Fallon would give him the time of day, which she doesn't seem inclined to do, starting something with her could jeopardize his friendship with his best friend.

Talk about an interesting way to meet...lol...this one takes the cake. I laughed at that predicament! Falling for your best friend's sister's best friend. Also a new one for me. I enjoyed this book immensely. Fallon has had a rough go of it the past few years, but she sure does have a couple of wonderful friends. Reid has had it fairly easy. Well, all but his heart. So now he's become a bit of a playboy to not fall into that kind of trap again. However, he hadn't quite met anyone like Fallon. After all, she didn't even know who he was. She didn't recognize him or have a clue even after she found out he was famous. I loved that! I enjoyed Sheldon and Nick. Their protective sides were adorable. Alexis seems too busy for her own good at the moment. The tragedy felt very real and I liked how it was handled. I read this straight through today and wish it would've been a series. I related to and laughed at the characters too much to want it to end. ARC provided in exchange for honest review.
