This is a great book for Resident Evil fans. People will enjoy this if people loved the Resident Evil Racoon City game. And this book tells the story of it. Unless you already completed the game.

Good, easy, and entertaining read that does the game justice.

I love just about anything Resident Evil. I think this book did a good job turning a video into a book.

I am a huge Resident Evil fan and this is the first book that I have read on the series. It certainly did the game justice and is a great read. Even if you have never played any of the games or don't know anything about them, you can still get into this book. It is very entertaining and I look forward to reading the rest!

First of all, this book was great. I rarely read (mainly because most books bore me), but I decided to give this one a chance because I love the games. As with most books, the first of it starts off a little slow, but the action then intensifies and will keep you reading. It's not just action, though. Like the games, it's filled with puzzle mysteries. I enjoyed how close it was to the game, and in some ways I liked it better because there's more info released into it (although not official). Definitely looking forward to getting the next ones in the series.

Great book unless you have seen the movies or played the games. The suspense is lost if you have any knowledge whatsoever of the series. Still enjoyable, mindless read. Their are parts where their is trouble following the story, however, it is still fun.

This isn't what you would call great literature. It's a novelization of a video game, so at times it does seem a little strained, as if trying to get all the elements of the game into the book. Honestly it wasn't scary or terribly gripping. The one thing it does have going for it is the whole zombie virus corporation conspiracy which is somewhat interesting.

This book is really good because it uses great description. For example, it says `¿Jill took in her surroundings as she caught her breath feeling like she was a character in a night mare that had just taken a turn in to grand fantasy.¿¿ I also like the book because at parts the book really gets your attention. I will read and start to get bored, but then I¿ll read something like `¿They walked slowly into the room noticing something on the wall .¿¿ Then I will want to read more to see what happens next.

An ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC book! The story is intense and leaves you on the edge of your seat! The story is roughly based on the first Resident Evil game, but of course the story is expanded a bit. S.D. Perry does an amazing job of making the story into an expanded book! Truly Fantastico!

If you have played the first Resident Evil video game, this story line will not surprise you. This is not a walk-through, but rather gives you more character background and a stronger introduction to the story than the game had.
