About the Author

Tim McNeese is associate professor of history at York College. He is the author of over 100 books and educational materials, many for teen readers including the 12-volume history of the United States, Discovering U.S. History. His writing has earned him multiple citations in Best Books for Young Teen Readers. Tim has served as a consulting historian on the History Channel and the American Heroes Channel series, America: Facts vs. Fiction. He and his wife, Beverly, live in York, Nebraska.

One error. Pg 227 Townsend was married then pg 232 Townsend was never married?
