Tracey was sick and tired of living in the shadows of her famous parents, Connie Morris and Jet Michaels. Growing up, Tracey had the best of everything: designer clothes, cars, jewelry, and extravagant parties. Tracey was all about that life of having riches, but she wanted more. She wanted to see her own name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After having a lackluster acting career, Tracey hires a new agent who persuades her to write a tell-all book that would expose her family and ex-lovers darkest secrets, including Hollywood's bad boy, B-Money. Tracey's book becomes an international best-seller, but not without a price. Her brother Devin could end up in jail, B-Money threatens murder, and Tracey finds herself on the verge of losing the only man she's ever loved. With a ten million dollar offer on the table to film a movie, Tracey must decide if she'll accept the deal and sail off into the sunset or give it all up to save her family.
EXCERPT: "Tracey, you believe a legacy is based solely on money and fame. You'll never know what it's really like to be a boss unless you've built your career from scratch, but you've had everything handed to you all your life. You've always enjoyed the fruits of my labor, but failed to see it was the struggles of my life that made me resilient and shrewd. Now you're running back to me so I can fix this monster you've created," Connie shook her head in disgust. "Well honey, you need to figure this one out for yourself. That's part of being a boss," Connie snatched up her purse, slung it over her shoulder, and stormed out of the office.

Had to See How It Would End! Selena Haskins continues the story of the main family from A River Moves Forward. Riding the Waves focuses on the next generation where the story centers on Connie’s daughter, Tracey- a rising star. Selena uses brave writing techniques as the story is told through Tracey’s tell- all book and shows how it impacts those around her. Many are not happy with what she has shared. Selena also uses real movies from certain eras as Tracey’s acting career takes off which was another bold writing technique. There is a lot of drama as the families try to deal with a host of unresolved issues and those who know life can easily identify with these situations. It is truly moves at a fast pace as Selena Haskins pulls it into well-rounded loop. She reconnects Tracey’s story to the key characters from the first book, A River Moves Forward as the families are steered back on track and work as a unit.
