Riki's Tale: Tails around the World

Riki's Tale is the second in the "Tails around the World" series by Sophie Kittredge. Set in old Japan, it tells the story of a fisherman's son and the abandoned dog he rescues. The two delight us and one another with their adventures and friendship. Along the way, we learn a few Japanese words and get a glimpse into a fascinating culture. It's accompanied by colorful, whimsical illustrations.
