After graduating from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas and relocating in Colorado, I returned to college to receive anAmerican History major at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Working on my second master's degree, I stumbled upon the biography of James Nugent.Nugent, a free spirit, was a true mountain man with a vision others didn't realize.He along with several other people were the champions to save Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park that most likely would have been purchased by a wealthy English Lord named Dunraven. Nugent's life shows the spirit of what Colorado became through his experiences and what he offered and his conflict against corruption.
This book is part fact and part fiction, filling the missing holes left from his short biography. It is filled with action packed adventure.
