About the Author

Sara Richardson grew up chasing adventure in Colorado's rugged mountains. She's climbed to the top of a 14,000 foot peak at midnight, swum through Class IV rapids, completed her wilderness first-aid certification, and spent seven days at a time tromping through the wilderness with a thirty-pound backpack strapped to her shoulders.

Eventually Sara did the responsible thing and got an education in writing and journalism. After a brief stint in the corporate writing world, she stopped ignoring the voices in her head and started writing fiction. Now she uses her experience as a mountain adventure guide to write stories that incorporate adventure with romance. Still indulging her adventurous spirit, Sara lives and plays in Colorado with her saint of a husband and two young sons.

This was a quickie read. I got it this morning and finished it to make this post possible. I have read none of the books in this series. This was the first read from Sara Richardson. Romantic. Romanced. These are just a few of the words that I felt as I as taking the journey through this Rocky Mountain Wedding. It sweet. There are challenges, obstacle, tears, fears, and a storm. This reads was packed with emotions. Its heartwarming. It stirs something within. I say YES or should I say I DO.

Overall I enjoyed Rocky Mountain Wedding. It was a good book, interesting, suspenseful and fun. I really liked the characters and could identify with their personalities. I didn’t realize when I grabbed Rocky Mountain Wedding from NetGalley that it was the last book in a series. Because Rocky Mountain Wedding is the last in the series there were peripheral characters that were given more play than would be expected and a culmination for the series that really had nothing to do with the story. Oddly enough nothing about Rocky Mountain Wedding made me want to search out the previous books in this series. Absolutely loved this sequel to "More Than a Feeling!" Wonderful story between the main characters! So glad the author was kind enough not to rush the story extend the main novel with this secret! Great series! Fun, heartwarming characters in all 5 books! Sara Richardson is my favorite new author!

This book gives you a little extra before the series is finally over. It's kind of bittersweet. If you want a book that will pull your heartstrings this one that will definitely fit the bill. It should be sunshine and roses, but we all know how life is. Road blocks and insecurities pop up that make this one an interesting read. You can feel love and family in this one. I shed some tears while reading this. It's the perfect note to end the series on.

I was so happy to be able to read about Sawyer and Ruby's HEA! I really loved them in More Than a Feeling. You will really love to see what happens to them after their book. I was kind of shocked that Richardson was able to put some much into this novella. I don't know if it's because we already basically knew they story or if the author that good! I mean a wedding, a baby and all the craziness that surrounds all that. I will tell you that you really should read More Than a Feeling since Rocky Mountain Wedding is almost like a long epilogue to their story. Read and enjoy both of them.

This heartwarming little novella gives readers another glimpse Ruby James and her handsome hero police officer, and soon to be husband, Sawyer Hawkins. This is the continuation of their story from the third installment in the Heart of the Rockies series titled More Than A Feeling, so if you haven't had the chance to read it yet, I recommend you do that first, so you get the full gist of their story. Ruby and Sawyer are ready to walk down the aisle, and finally get started on their future together. Everything seems to be falling into to place for them, Brooklyn is now living in their home, and they created a great little family environment for her, and have also recently found out their expecting their first child together, for them life simply couldn't get any better. But just as they start to get comfortable, and let their guards down, the weather and a little expected danger decide to throw a little wrinkle into their plans for a happily ever after... I have to say this was a nice way to end this series on a high note, and was a beautiful second glimpse at two of my favorites from the Heart of the Rockies series. Discovering this series has been quite the literary treat for me, and I have truly enjoyed my visits to the series. It has been a true pleasure to meet all of Ms. Richardson's unforgettable characters, and follow them on their journeys to find their well deserved happy endings. Each one of them have cemented a special place in my heart, and their stories have renewed my faith in happily ever after. I highly recommend you add this series to your reading list, they are all very satisfying reads that will leave you with a smile on your face and a warmed heart! Format: Galley Copy This story can be read as a stand alone, however, I would read the rest of the Heart of the Rockies Series before digging in. Writing a review for a novella that's a sequel is extremely difficult. It's hard not to give things away from previous books. So, I'll go with my feelings and thoughts. Rocky Mountain Wedding was one giant emotional tilt a whirl. Ruby and Sawyer are excitedly heading to their wedding day and they're steps away from adopting their foster child, Brooke. There's an exciting surprise that will throw their whole world for a loop. Then one draw back I had was how Sawyers parents were very negative without meeting Ruby. If you're looking for a heart warming romance novella that will keep you on the edge of your seat, I highly recommend Heart of the Rockies.

It's the surprises that make each day special and life interesting. Sawyer and Ruby are learning that hoping and planning does not equate perfection. It's the lessons learned from life's upsets that are unifying. Those are what build an unbreakable seal. Rocky Mountain Wedding is the final novel in Ms. Richardson's Heart of the Rockies series. What has remained consistent in every book of this series is family. Whether by blood or friendship, in times of adversity there is always someone to count on. Am going to miss this series.
