C. F. Francis is a native Floridian. Born in Tampa, she was raised on Florida's Gold Coast. Currently she resides near Sanibel Island, Florida where her first novel, Sanctuary Island, takes place. She has lived in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Orlando and Tallahassee where she worked for the Florida Legislature's Organized Crime Committee. Her background also includes tourism, healthcare and real estate. She enjoys the beach, traveling and reading.
