Nickie Savage was a victim of human trafficking as a child but she was able to overcome the terrible things that happened to her and become a top cop. Duncan Reed is Nickie's love of her life...he understands what she needs when the past makes an appearance and helps her in her investigation into the people that kept her hostage when she was a child. Nickie gets a real shock when she finally finds out who the kingpin of the organization is. Ms. Wolfe writes excellent romantic suspense. She gives us a good story and believable strong characters. Although this can be read as a standalone, I recommend starting with the first book of the series. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Not a stand alone book. I was excited when I saw the next book in the series was out but once read very disappointed. The book was very disjointed and jumped around and sometimes didn't make much sense. You MUST read the previous books or you will be totally lost.

Recommend you read the series in order. Every book is worth your time if you like well developed characters, involving plots, a lot of heart, and great action. --BOOKS4ME

SAVAGE BETRAYAL by R T Wolfe She has gone thru so much, yet, the betrayal still grows, some of which is closer to home, now she knows. The moles of Fed officers, more deaths, new locations for the kids caught n other countries. With family and Duncan to give her help and support she continues. Powerful, focus, she is determined to reach her goal. Her personal life is growing, with the support of Duncan. Great series, and a great writer. Always looking for more.

I received this book from e-book Discovery for a honest review. This book had a good story line but tried to hard to be like Eve Dallas. There's room for more than one badass female cop. Let her stand on her own merits.

Savage Betrayal, # 4 book in the series…. R.T. Wolfe writes another action packed, and suspenseful romance novel. In this book, the reader fines out, who betrayed Nickie. Make no mistake it isn’t who you think it is. But wait that’s not all! Along with hubby, Duncan Reed, fellow police officers and the FBI, Nickie is able to unravel the even bigger mystery of who orchestrated the trafficking ring that abducted her as a young child. Wolfe weaves the characters from previous books into the story-line, yet keeping the story fresh and interesting. One of the things I enjoy most about her novels is this fact! Her novels are not only interesting suspenseful reads, but she intertwines a real family dynamic nuance in her stories. I was given an advanced reading copy of this book, from the author, in exchange, for an honest review.

I love this series. The twists and turns keep you on your toes, and this book does not disappoint. The chemistry between Nikki and Duncan is a real type of chemistry. They both have their haunted pasts, but they work together. This is one series that I could reread and be happy with.

Once again I could not put this book down. I love How R.T. Wolfe keeps you on your toes. Nicki Savage is still looking for her childhood abductors and trying to find the mole in the department, while managing her love life with Duncan. I love watching their relationship grow. I cannot believe there is only one more book in the series! Once again R.T. Wolfe keeps us engaged and wanting more, all the sign of an amazing author!

I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review. Those of you who have been reading the series will LOVE this next one! I was so anxious for the next book in the series to come out and I was not disappointed! I was hooked right from page one couldn’t put it down until I finished it. R.T. Wolfe does it once again, keeping the suspense going and as always the relationship between Nickie and Duncan makes for great reading. I love how you see their relationship mature into other areas while the two of them are still trying to find who the mole is and who is the head of the child trafficking ring. This story if full of lots of surprises and kept me guessing until the end. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. It can’t get here fast enough! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good suspenseful romance, but make sure you have read the other books in the series first, I guarantee you will love them all. Thank you R.T. Wolfe for another great read!!!
