About the Author

Sharon Hamilton’s NYT and USA/Today SEAL Brotherhood series have earned her multiple bestseller lists both in the U.S., and internationally. Her Navy SEAL heroes learn to deal with life on life’s terms when they come back from deployment. Although highly trained and heavily equipped with the best the military has to offer, when it comes to falling in love, there are no rules, no practice runs and no manuals. Much is asked of the women who are strong enough to love them. But the rewards make up for all the interim heartache.

These men find their sometimes rocky road to recovery and redemption in the arms of their families, for whom they serve. They don’t do it for money, or glory. They are the ones who “get ‘er done.”

Sharon also writes Golden Vampires of Tuscany and Guardian Angels, which have also garnered bestseller lists and awards.

When not writing, Sharon can be found getting verra verra dirty in the vegetable and flower gardens she’s tended for decades. She lives with her husband in the Wine Country of Northern California, where most of her stories take place.

I tried....INTELLIGENT READERS don't bother!!! Writing is immature, characters lack substance and are extremely immature. Author poorly represents Navy Seals and their code of honor and respect, i.e., the main characters are having obscene sex before the female's husband is even dead for a month (pregnant widow) with her husband's supposed BEST FRIEND! Unhealthy relationship and terrible storyline. Not to mention just sick.... (" Help me heal, TJ" seven months pregnant with husband dead one month and already performing oral sex on his best friend) Not how decent honorable people behave. I'm a veteran and I'm appalled at the author's lack of respect. Disgusting!!!

SEAL Brotherhood Book Eight. Shannon Moore's new husband has been killed overseas, but his jerk of a best friend, T.J. Talbot, managed to survive. When T.J. shows up at her door to bring Frankie's things back to her, she's pissed that T.J. let Frankie die. However, she's always felt the spark between them, even when she buried it deep. T.J. wants to protect and care for Shannon, especially since he promised Frankie that he would look after Shannon and the baby. When a quick visit turns into more, Shannon needs to take a step back, but T.J. wants to go all in. Until Shannon is in serious danger, she doesn't know how she truly feels. If you're looking for a story about redemption, this is the one for you. *I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This was hard to put down once I started reading it. I am the widow of a retired Navy man, although he was not a Seal. I have read other books about Seals as well, but the language/sexuality in this book is really too obscene for my personal taste. It may be realistic, but I would prefer that it was toned down a bit. Prior to this I read Chris Kyle's story. There was some bad language/sexuality in it, but not nearly as much as this. I doubt that I will read any of her other books, for that reason alone.

Seal’s Promise was an interesting read from start to finish. Special Operator T.J. Talbot was a fun loving clown of a guy. Until, the last mission went astray and his friend with his last dyeing breath had T.J. promise to take care of his wife and unborn child. It was a promise that T.J. refused to break. Shannon Moore was excited and actually waiting for the return of her husband when the knock at the door turned her life upside down. However, with the life she carries as a reminder of her dead husband she fights to get balance back in her life, even more so when T.J. shows up to make sure that she does.

Loved this story it was another great addition to this series.  It was great being able to see characters from the other books as well.  Highly recommend this series.  Hope it's not a long time until we can have the next one.

Getting to read the rest of TJ and Shannon's story was wonderful. I fell in love with them when I read their novella and have been waiting for the rest of their story. I wasn't disappointed at all. This book has it all suspense, action, romance, steamy sex, hunky military heros and just an downright awesome storyline. Loved how we got to see more of the Seal team 3 guys and their wives. If you are either a fan of Sharon's book or just a fan of military romance this is a good fit

SEAL's Promise by Sharon Hamilton is a very good book! Navy SEAL T.J. Talbot promises his best friend that he will look after his wife and child. The one problem, Shannon hates him. All Shannon wants is to devote her life to her child. T.J. has secretly had hot thoughts about Shannon. When he tries to keep his promise, Shannon wants nothing to do with him. T.J. fears he won't be able to fulfill that promise he made. When Shannon and her child are in danger, T.J. fights for them in more ways than one. Definitely a must-read book!
