A very well-written 10 chapter story of an impulsive beautiful woman who ends up stranded in Australia and the sexy mining engineer that may be her ticket back home to Marietta, Montana. Laughter, tears, romping sex scenes, and, of course, romance. This story is also found in the .99 collection His Only Valentine.

Can I possibly give it more then 5 starts? I loved this story that much. The story was very well written with a lot of depth to it. I grew to love the characters from the start and it just got better from there. Mitch Bannister's ex is marrying his best friend. Kristelle was a nightmare and he really doesn't want to go to the wedding, but his friend asked him to be the best man. He can't turn him down even if he doesn't approve of the wedding. Scarlett Buck has gone to Australia on a whim. She's made a lot of mistakes in her life and she thinks the plan she has this time is a good one. Little does she know, it just isn't meant to be. Now, she needs to get back home to Montana because her mother is sick. She spent all her money buying the one way ticket to Australia and is trying to work odd jobs to get the money for her flight back home. Mitch and Scarlett meet at one of her jobs and when things don't go as either expected, they part ways only to meet again later in the day. He comes up with a plan that will help both of their situations. Little do they know, fate has a bigger plan for them both.
