Second Chances

The story opens with Clay's father dying of a sudden heart attack, which leaves Clay groping for answers. He begins to look at his own mortality. His marriage seems to be failing quickly, and he wonders if he has made correct choices throughout his life. He begins to drink which puts even more stress on his relationship.
